Welcome to Itinee! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website located at itinee.co.uk and the Itinee application (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Itinee.co.uk ("we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service and Usage Limits

Itinee is a travel day planner that helps users organise itineraries and calculate estimated travel times.

Current Tier: The Service is currently offered entirely for free as a "Free Tier."

Usage Limits: To ensure the stability of the platform, free accounts are currently limited to a maximum of 5 days per itinerary and 10 places per day.

We reserve the right to modify, increase, or decrease these limits, or introduce paid tiers at any time, at our sole discretion, without prior notice.

2. User Accounts

To use Itinee, you must create an account.

• You are required to provide a valid name and email address.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree that all information you provide is accurate. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that use disposable, fake, or abusive email addresses.

3. Modifications and Availability

We are continuously building and improving Itinee. Therefore:

• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service (including specific features or the entire application) at any time, without prior warning or notice.
• We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available or uninterrupted. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

4. Third-Party Services (Google Maps)

Itinee relies heavily on third-party APIs, specifically Google Maps Services, to provide location searches, routing, and estimated travel times.

By using Itinee, you acknowledge that travel times and distances are estimates provided by Google. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of these times or place details.

You acknowledge that your use of the location features is also bound by the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.

5. Communication and Privacy

We respect your inbox. At this current stage, we do not send marketing or promotional emails.

Data Hosting: Your account data and itineraries are stored securely in a Google Cloud data center located in the United Kingdom.

Data Processing: We only collect your name and email to authenticate your account and save your itineraries. For full details on how we handle your data in compliance with UK GDPR, please review our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or systematically extract data or code from Itinee.
• Overload our infrastructure or the Google Maps API requests artificially.
• Plan illegal activities.

7. Limitation of Liability

Itinee is a planning tool, not a travel agency. We are not responsible for your real-world travel outcomes.

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Itinee and its creator(s) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to: missed flights, closed venues, delayed trains, or financial losses resulting from your reliance on the itinerary timings or routes provided by the Service.

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without any warranties of any kind, express or implied.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant material changes, we may notify you by highlighting the change within the application. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
