Inside the Itinee app

Ready before you head out

Open the saved itinerary while online and review the day you will follow.

The Itinee Android app timeline with scheduled visits and travel connections.
Give yourself a few minutes before travelling to check that your plan is available on the right account and device. Previously loaded itinerary details and offline maps are different things, so prepare each service you intend to use.

1. Use the Same Account on Web and Phone

Sign into the account you used to save the trip. Use the same sign-in method where possible, and refresh your saved trip list while online. Browsing a Discover preview alone does not add an editable trip to your account.

  1. Open a Discover trip and choose Use this trip if you want your own copy.
  2. Review the copied dates and stops on the website, then sign into the same account in the app.
  3. If you followed a shared invitation, finish joining before looking for the owner’s trip. A shared trip and a cloned copy are separate entries.

2. Open the Trip Before You Lose Connectivity

The Android app can read previously loaded itinerary details from its local cache. Open the saved trip and the days you expect to use while you have a connection, then check the details you need. Do not assume that an itinerary you have never opened will be available offline. Cache availability can change after signing out, reinstalling or clearing app data.

3. Prepare Maps and Original Tickets Separately

Opening a trip does not download an offline map. Navigation, fresh routes, new place data and pass updates can require a connection. If your navigation provider offers offline downloads, prepare them in that provider’s app and check its limitations for your chosen travel mode. Keep original tickets, booking references and admission instructions available alongside Itinee’s saved details.

4. Check Times, Dates and Reminders

Review the correct travel dates, stop times and destination time zone. In the Android app, enable Push Move Alerts in the Account Menu and allow notifications. Device permissions, battery settings and connectivity can affect reminder delivery. Time to Move follows planned stay-end times; it does not track whether you have arrived or guarantee an alert at the exact moment.

5. Have a Browser and Return-Journey Backup

If a trip link stays in your browser, try Open in app or open Itinee directly and refresh your saved trips. Check that the app is installed, up to date and signed into the right account. Keep your accommodation address, return transport and original bookings somewhere you can reach independently. Check the download page for iOS availability; continue on the website while the app is not available for your device.

Pro Traveler Strategy

Do a short rehearsal before leaving: open the itinerary, inspect your first stop and check how you will return to your accommodation. Keep a separate copy of essential booking references.
